News—SVD Farm managers and supervisors undergo management training with Chef Babes Austria, Dr. Rose Clemeña
Tagaytay City—In a proactive move towards professional development, the SVD Laudato Si’ Farm conducted an intensive management training program last November 20, 2023.
Aimed at refining the skills of its managerial and supervisory staff, the training involved the managers and supervisors from the SVD Farm’s various departments crucial to its overall operations.
Managers and supervisors from the Communications Department, Farm Production Department, Finance Department, Operations Department, Human Resources Department, and Sales & Marketing Department gathered to participate in the comprehensive program.
Rev. Fr. Samuel "Sam" Naceno-Agcaracar, Executive Director of the SVD Farm, Rector of the SVD-Tagaytay Community, and Rev. Fr. Ricardo “Jhon” Crisostomo, Jr., SVD, General Manager of the SVD Farm, also joined the program.
The morning session was led by Chef Aurora "Babes" Austria, the SVD Farm’s culinary consultant. Chef Babes guided participants through a session focused on enhancing and streamlining the SVD Farm's processes, with a particular emphasis on its food and beverage operations. The session provided valuable insights into optimizing efficiency and ensuring quality service.
In the afternoon, the training continued at the Ecospirituality Center’s Prayer Hall with Dr. Rose Marie Salazar-Clemeña, PhD, who conducted a session centered on leadership and management skills. Dr. Rose, an expert in the field of psychology, delved into key aspects of effective leadership, providing practical strategies for fostering a positive work environment and driving success.
