SVD Laudato Si' Farm—Tagaytay

Tagaytay City —The SVD Laudato Si' Farm’s celebration of its third anniversary last January 29, 2024, along with the feast day of St. Joseph Freinademetz, SVD, began with the Holy Mass at the Chapel of the Virgin of the Poor, a sacred moment presided over by Most Rev. Arturo M. Bastes, SVD, D.D., Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Sorsogon. Bishop Arturo presided over the Holy Mass at the Chapel of the Virgin of the Poor, accompanied by priests from the SVD Tagaytay Community as concelebrants.

Tagaytay City —Last January 29, 2024, the SVD Laudato Si' Farm celebrated its third anniversary, along with the feast day of St. Joseph Freinademetz, SVD. The SVD Farm’s celebration of three years of #FaithFarmingAndFood featured the Holy Mass and a special dinner and gathering for the #FriendsOfTheFarm at the Ecospirituality Center’s Al Fresco ni San Francesco.

Tagaytay City —Rev. Fr. Samuel "Sam" Naceno-Agcaracar, SVD, Executive Director of the SVD Laudato Si' Farm and Rector of the SVD Tagaytay Community, was featured as one of the resource speakers for the Philippine Bible Society's National Bible Month 2024: Creation Care Workshop last January 27, 2024. In his message, Fr, San shared insights on Biblical principles related to caring for the Earth and emphasized the crucial importance of sustainability in a world facing environmental challenges.

 In a visit to the SVD Farm, Mr. George and Mrs. Melly Tagle, parents of Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, shared their pride in their son's longstanding commitment to environmental protection. Their visit was marked by a reflection on the Cardinal's contributions to environmental advocacy, particularly during his time as Bishop of the Diocese of Imus and his tenure in Manila. During their visit, the Tagles were accompanied by Ms. Clariz Cruz, the SVD Farm’s Liaison Officer.

Tagaytay City —His Eminence Mario Cardinal Grech graced the SVD Farm with his presence last January 24, 2024. During his visit, he described the SVD Farm as a "blessed project."
